FAQs
The answers to your questions
I'm new to this, how will I know what to do?
I am your posing expert! Whether this is your first of 100th photo shoot, we work together to find poses that compliment your individual physique. Feel free to come with ideas or inspiration. As a women's posing coach, I have an eye for details and what will look phenomenal on you!
Do you provide outfits?
Yes! It can be stressful trying to find outfits for a photo shoot. I provide a lot of options that range in size and flexibility to ensure they will fit all body types. Even with the wardrobe provided, I understand selection can be overwhelming. With me you get your own personal stylist and can help select what might sit you best! All of the outfits are washed immediately after a shoot. At the moment, I do not provide shoes but do provide sock options.
Can I bring my own outfits?
You are more than welcome to bring your own outfits. However, please note I work with a specific style that focuses on your physique rather than the pieces of clothing so plain and minimal noise is best. I am open to those who would like to wear athletic pieces as well.
Is this boudoir Photography?
The short answer is no. Although this style shows a lot of skin it is not boudoir. We utilize smaller pieces to show off the female physique as that is the main focus. I understand showing this much skin could be uncomfortable and I am open to clients wearing what they feel comfortable in including activewear. I would refrain from wearing any lingerie or lace as it does not align. If you are interested in booking a Boudoir shoot- Please visit the Boudoir Page for additional information.
Tell me more about this style of photography and what a session is like!
This is simply female physique focused. I use natural light, shadows and posing that compliment you. I am your biggest cheerleader and here to capture your individuality, unique style, and make you feel more beautiful and confident that ever! My goal is that you will leave this session feeling like the Rock Star you are!
Do you offer Boudoir Photo Shoots?
Yes, I do offer a Luxurious Boudoir photography package. These are more intimate and lingerie is encouraged. As part of the experience I offer wardrobe selection, but you are welcome to wear your own pieces. Please visit my Boudoir Page for more info.
Do I need my makeup professionally done?
Not at all! Natural is best for this type of shoot and your everyday makeup or none at all works just fine. If you would like your makeup professionally done, I do have recommendations for local artists.
H&M I included in the Boudoir Package for your convenience. I have a talented artist on our team and you'll be in good hands!
Can I select photos or do you select them?
This is entirely up to you. You are able to look through the photos and choose which to edit yourself. Looking through photos can be overwhelming so it's a popular choice for me to choose for you.
Can I purchase more photos outside of my package?
Yes, you can purchase additional edits for $20 per image.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, you may bring 1-2 people with you the day of the shoot.
Can I keep all the images?
For an additional fee you can be sent all the unedited JPEG photos. The fee ranges from $500-$1000 depending on package and album size. Please note these will need to be downloaded within 30 days. After this, photographer is not liable for any lost images.
Can I keep my photos private?
Absolutely! I value your privacy and only feature clients who have given permission to share.
If I'm competing in a show, when is the best time to book?
If you are prepping for a show, I always say the BEST time to book a show is either 6-8 weeks out, day after the show, or 1-4 weeks post show.
6-8 weeks pre show you likely won't hit any serious depletions yet so you'll still be getting good pumps and have plenty of energy.
Day after the show you are tanned, your muscles are full from a since post show meal.
1-4 weeks post show is amazing because it can help keep you on track but also because you'll start to get your POP back into your physique as you begin to reverse diet.
All are good and there is no perfect time. I even stress to do an off season shoot to ensure you are appreciating your body in all stages. <3
Should I workout before my shoot?
Short answer is no. You want to show up rested and refreshed, not inflamed. I do have bands at the studio if you wanted to do a light pump prior to taking any photos.
Do you offer a pre-shoot protocol in terms of diet leading into shoot day?
Yes. As someone who has done a number of shoots herself, I have found some things that help bring your best look when preparing for a photoshoot. Please contact me directly if you are interested in more information.
